  • I don’t think it’s really possible to define love in a way that would apply to everyone. However, it is possible to define how love affects you as an individual. It does serve as a basis of some sort of truth :]

  • Oh certainly for sure, love is the most abstract of all abstract nouns. It is virtually impossible to define. Well at least that is what I think.

Great question though! I will be thinking about it for awhile.

  • lol.  This entry is great.  Oh. I’m going to have to think about that for a while, though.  = D

  • Did you comment on my entry today? …  Anyway, thank you.

    Happy 4th of July!!

  • Love is the reslt of someone/something sparking happiness in you and when it dies the hope that it will return does not.

  • The greatest love of all is the one that weakens the soul and leaves a burning flame that will last forever–I got this from The Notebook. I like their love. It’s beautiful.

  • RYC: Son called from Oxford today and said the lecturer at Oxford briefly mentioned the Fourth of July, but assured him that all Americans were still welcome. I hope for us Americans and Brits that our history is all water under the bridge, as they say.

I am halfway through the book. I will blame you, of course, for all the summer school reading I am not doing. Your book is wonderful and has made it’s way to the top of my stack every night. I have preconceived notions of what will happen with your young girl and her hardy companion, but I don’t know, maybe it is just how my mind works… and it is really still a mystery to me, so don’t spoil the ending.

  • Wow, it’s just weird, because on Monday I was asked to define love. I tried, but it was hard.
