My Dog’s TheologyI’m certain my dog has religious beliefs, which he practices devoutly. He watches a superior being intently, understanding only one word in a thousand, but wagging his tail at any kind one. He supplicates constantly for his daily needs, mainly food, especially any kind that he is not supposed to eat, and even better, walkies. When blessed with walkies, and let free of the lease – for the superior being believes in freedom and happiness – he obeys NOT the commandments bellowed after him by said superior being, but runs amok, fighing with other dogs and sniffing at as much rubbish and dog pee as he can find. Upon being chastised he boweth his head and waggeth his tail in a most apologetic manner, and tomorrow will do all this over again. I’m certain my dog has religious beliefs.

That just about made my night, and I’m not even kidding. =]
I thought it was really cute, y’know.

That’s classic.
haha. Well, I guess every creature is blessed with many talents…or beliefs or maybe even their own culture.
My cat’s a theist, I suspect.
THat is such a lovely post. Thanks for your comments. I think you actually understand what I was trying to say. One of my best friends is an Atheist and he cannot verbalise his beliefs without starting off about what he does not believe about Theism. I just want an Atheist to give me an answer starting with a positive. Will do the About Humanism next but I have a feeling it is the same guy writing it.
It’s a dog’s life for sure.
Hugs, Tricia
I don’t really have a problem with Dan. But if he ever does condemn me to hell, I’ll just threaten to sneeze on him.
(he’s a germaphobe)
